West Bengal State Multipurpose Consumers’ Cooperative Federation Ltd. (CONFED) is the apex consumers’ cooperative federation of affiliated wholesale consumers’ cooperative societies and consumer stores. The primary consumers’ cooperative societies are the base level societies and members of the wholesale consumer societies identified as the first tier of this set up. The objects of the Federation are primarily to coordinate and facilitate the working of the affiliated wholesale consumers’ cooperative societies and to assist in the promotion, organization & development of wholesale consumers’ cooperative societies.
