West Bengal State Multipurpose Consumers’ Cooperative Federation Ltd. abbreviated as CONFED-WB, is an apex Co-operative Society whose area of membership and operation extends to the whole of West Bengal. At the time of the registration in 1965 the name of the organization was The West Bengal State Federation of Wholesale Consumers Co-operative Societies Limited. Trade Name, “CONFED WB”, the West Bengal State Consumer’s Co-operative Federation Limited come into existence in the year 1980 ( 5.12.1980) and its name has been amended and renamed as West Bengal State Multipurpose Consumers’ Cooperative Federation Ltd.
